yes ... this blog (and me )  is still live... time just went on ... and then i wanted something ace to put on...
and then I thought of all the freelancers squirrelled away at home and thought Id send a message to you all !!!...

Buzzzing

Is the buzz of a big fat horrid fly one of THE most irritating sounds... I hate them !!! they hate me, clearly, or they wouldn't keep coming in my house and dive bombing me... don't get me wrong, I love nature, only this morning I saved a drowning bee... but flies... the only thing for them is  a SWAT

Im in danger of becoming one of those ranty type bloggers... but why is there no choice of decent pyjamas for kids ? and between march and september  theres hardly any at all AND then it seems you have to go to bed with a horrible licsenced character all over you or nothing at all....

todays link is in tribute to the lovely blogger missy pop-i-cok.. Ive just read her blog and she had a grumpy day yesterday and its exactly how Im feeling today... Im having to redo everything and then Im still not happy with it... everyone I have spoke to has irritated me ...anyhow started to wonder if maybe the menstral cycles of fellow bloggers could be linked !???? as a few of pop-i-coks followers reported similar feelings....

Umbrella print girl

In keeping with my last stitches post, here is my entry for the annual umbrella prints competition...
A little parcel of fabric scraps arrives and you create something.. anything !...   she was supposed to have a handsome partner to act coy with.. but time as usual..

Went to the collect show at the saatchi gallery this weekend...

quite a mind blowing selection of talent, I only had my phone so apologies for the quality of these photos...  but these were just some of things that caught my eye...
I fell in love with a red enamelled tray,  at the reasonable price of £32. 50, it was coming home with me... just before I made a total ass of myself, i realised it was £3250..  there were some hefty price tags but also huge amounts of talent..

(Apologies again for not naming the artists but there were so many separate stands from different galleries it was hard to keep references )

london, lego and boogie eye glasses

Visited the wonderful London town this weekend... always enjoy it...always have the same conversations about what property you could buy at home for the same price, how many people can live and travel in one place etc. etc.  ; )       (more of these city prints from www.etsy.com/shop/blancucha )

 Legoland... a day of two halves... started by paying a ruddy fortune to get in, we were cold, it was rainy...kids wouldn't go on any of the rides... it was grim.. Then the pirate show seemed to book us up and after an all you can eat pizza buffet the day slowly improved...

Also got to the V & A where the best bit for Ruby was the 'magic' glasses she had in her kids backpack thing...see below... (she's really quite beautiful... )  lunch in the rather nice cafe where the lights and ceiling impressed me at least.  Then the Science museum where there was a fab thing which was like putting your hands in water and fish swam over.. only it was just a mat... wanted one.. you know for the downstairs loo extravaganza...

things aren't good in fish land...

not sure whats going on with the fish.. but one seems to spend his time at the top and the other just lies on the bottom.... maybe they've had words... and I've changed the water, cleaned the pump, been really careful with the chemical drops... but the glass still has a greeny hue the next morning... hope they are not on the way out already..

My friend has recently had a baby.. and in a moment of I can only think alcohol affected decision making... asked me to be godparent... Im very chuffed... Im pretty unsure what kind of spiritual guidance I can offer... but if that girl needs help with a sticking or sewing project..im there for her !!!

The most stylish loo

I totally love this flooring..its vinyl !!... but as our refurb is nearly finished, I have nowhere to put it... apart from the downstairs loo !!!  how nice will that be..    its from zazous.co.uk

Latest addition to the family ...two fish for Rubys birthday... I thought the spongebob house (the preferred accommodation for goldfish in 2012) would just be for decoration .. but the little fish, actually spends time in there !

Eventually got round to this !....

After months of following loads of blogs and looking at some gorgeous things on line from all over the world... I thought I would have a go... It had meant to be a web site..but that seems to be more involved so Im just jumping in with blogging... hoping it won't be a one hit wonder !
 I thought the best thing to get started would be to show you a bit about me by taking a few bits from around the house, to give an idea of whats to come..  hoping it will interest you enough to make you pop by again : )
